One Breath around the Sun

The contemporary dance piece ‘One Breath around the Sun’ explores a continuous movement that takes us through different phases. A movement that starts with letting go of tension, opening up, allowing ourselves to be touched – by ourselves, our fellow human beings and our environment.
At its heart is the exploration of a dance movement that goes on and on – just like life itself. What phases do we go through, where do we keep returning to? How can we flow within a structure without perceiving it as a limitation? And how does the flow itself change this structure? An exciting interplay unfolds between chaos and order. Cycles of life are reflected upon from the perspective of the sun.

For her first full-length production, 26-year-old choreographer Mara Hache will bring five professional and a number of non-professional dancers together on stage in November 2025 in the hall of the E-WERK Freiburg. An encounter that reminds us of humanity, lightness and the joy of living.
